Our Story

A hall with history

Since 1937, Repentance Creek Hall has been a social and cultural hub for our valley โ€” a place for live music and dances, fundraisers and family gatherings, workshops, and the kind of evenings where neighbours catch up with old friends and make new ones.

Run entirely by volunteers, the hall is also a community hub during disasters โ€” a place for communication and support when the valley needs it most. After a recent paint job, the building wears its heritage green and yellow weatherboards proudly โ€” raised on timber stumps, with a timber stage inside and a wood-fired pizza oven out the back.

Located near Mullumbimby in the Byron Bay hinterland. Great for live music, private parties, and community events โ€” with room for up to 200 people.

What's On

Community events

Join us for regular gatherings โ€” especially our beloved wood-fired pizza nights, running since 2012.

Wood-Fired Pizza Nights

Come along, catch up with old friends and make new ones. Pizza nights run on monthly Saturday evenings from 4pm until sold out โ€” beer and wine available, or BYO. Indoor seating when weather turns. No dogs, please.

Pizzas are served for a suggested donation (e.g. Greek Chicken or Capricciosa around $22). There's also a mega meat raffle โ€” three trays to be won. Next pizza night: Saturday 27 June 2026. Full menu on our Facebook page.

Volunteer with us

Pizza night takes a lot of people to create the wonderful food and community spirit. If you'd like to lend a hand, get in touch โ€” we'd love to hear from you.
